Rail: frequent services (at least half-hourly) link Newcastle and York to Darlington Railway Station. Services from Middlesbrough, Redcar, Saltburn, Stockton and Hartlepool run approximately half-hourly, whilst there are approximately 10 trains daily from Bishop Auckland and Shildon.
