As part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations of Darlington Community Carnival DMG have delved into their archives to produce 2 exhibitions.
Carnival 25th Anniversary
The first on show in the Decisive Moment Gallery in the Media Workshop is a look at the ‘Early years of Carnival from 1982 – 1994′. Using traditional wet black and white prints from film shot at the time, it is an insight into the history of this annual community event.
Colour and Movement
The second concentrates on more recent years and with large A-1 digital prints features ‘colour and movement’. It is on show in the Studio Gallery at Darlington Arts Centre until July.
