Working exclusively in monochrome and using mostly medium format film cameras Mark Snowdon’s preferred subject is the English landscape with the Lake District, West Cornwall and North Yorkshire among his favourite locations. Light quality is very important to Mark and he particularly favours fog, mist and the light of pre-dawn.
A member of Northallerton Camera Club, he’s also an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS). Some of his photographs have been published in various books (including Best of Friends) and have also been used by Ilford for publicity purposes.
The Decisive Moment Gallery will host this exhibition from 27th February until 10th April 2010.
