To have open access to our facilities you have to become a member of DMG. This costs just £10 per year. Once you are a member, you pay a small session fee - see the rate card for more details.

Finding Us

The Media Workshop is located on the ground floor of the Blanche Pease building, within the grounds of Darlington Arts Centre. Access is through the main Arts Centre foyer or directly from the side entrances on Trinity Road.

Rail: frequent services (at least half-hourly) link Newcastle and York to Darlington Railway Station. Services from Middlesbrough, Redcar, Saltburn, Stockton and Hartlepool run approximately half-hourly, whilst there are approximately 10 trains daily from Bishop Auckland and Shildon. Bus: local and express bus services provided by Stagecoach, Arriva and Go Northern connect all parts of the northeast and North Yorkshire with Darlington Town Centre. For details of services and timings, see Traveline North East website. Note that buses from Bishop Auckland, Cockfield and Tow Law pass along Woodland Road (see map) – you can alight at Holy Trinity Church for DMG via Vane Terrace without going into the Town Centre.
